The ‘Made By You’ campaign celebrates the Converse Chuck Taylor through imagery of Chucks, presented as works of art, made by the people who wore them. To amplify the core campaign message Exposure created an artful influencer activation.
We collaborated with cultural iconoclast Glenn O’Brien to make a book that shared the stories and sneakers of influential creatives. Contributors included Adam Selman, Eli Reed, Futura, Hanni El-Khatib, Humberto Leon, Jefferson Hack, Leo Fitzpatrick, M.I.A. and Patti Smith. The book sits in the permanent collection of the Costume Institute at the Met Museum.
The activation launched with an exclusive dinner in New York City attended by key members of the music, art and fashion communities.
Exposure worked with top models, designers and creative directors to build product visibility during fashion weeks in New York, Madrid, Paris and London. Collaborators included VFILES, Opening Ceremony, Ruben Gomez and Charlie May amongst others.
We created energy in local markets with experiential spaces that presented assets from the book in an immersive environment that engaged local influencers and sparked activity with Hanni El-Khatib, Anne Freeman, Cali DeWitt, Swim Deep, Kate Tempest and Harris Elliot amongst others.
