Account Manager (NYC)

Overview

Exposure New York, an independent boutique creative agency, is looking for an informed, ambitious and organized mind to join our PR Team at Account Manager level. Our agency works to create integrated communications that connect brands and culture with purpose and relevancy, and we work with some amazing clients across fashion, lifestyle and spirits brands.

We would like to work alongside an energetic and intelligent account manager with ability that spans client management, project management and content production. A natural ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients and partners will be a central skillset.

Job Responsibilities

Client Management
—Build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships across multiple accounts
—Collaborate with brand stakeholders and brand partners on an ongoing basis
—Problem solver and propose viable solutions to client challenges
—Demonstrate a deep understanding of client category, objectives and business

Project Management
—Work closely with Senior Account Team to support and/or lead projects
—Recap internal and client meetings and calls with clear and timely notes and next steps
—Guide and direct internal agency creative process and workflow
—Clearly communicate client objectives to wider agency team
—Secure and direct third party vendors where relevant

Production Support
—Build and maintain timelines and budgets with production partners
—Support internal team in flawless execution of campaigns and brand initiatives
—Serve as liaison between agency, production partners and client
—Assist with planning of shoots and activations and provide support to team

Finance and Legal Ownership
—Ensure necessary financial and legal approvals are secured for clients
—Oversee and maintain budgets and agency billing
—Confirm clear and accurate budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation
—Liase with agency and client legal teams as needed

Creative Director

Overview

This role is at the heart of the agency working closely with our Chief Creative Officer and leadership team to lead creative direction across our brands. You will partner with our Client, Strategy, and Production teams to provide the best creative and strategic solutions across fashion, lifestyle and drinks clients.

Your role will be fully integrated working across all internal teams to lead the development and delivery of content and experiences.

This is an opportunity to work across some of the world’s strongest brands so you will need to be an ambitious, commercially minded and most importantly a media agnostic Creative Director.  The work you do will place us ahead of our competition and encourage our internal teams and clients to boldly pursue innovative ideas that translate into experiences consumers will rave about.

Job Responsibilities

Client Management 
—You will be working to set the vision and agenda for our clients
—You will work across Exposure to deliver excellent creative solutions to meet client needs, in partnership with strategy, client services, production and other internal teams
You will work with our clients, strategy director and leadership team to get to grips with their real business problems
—You will present and articulate visions, strategies and technologies to clients from marketing executives to Board level
—You will establish your own relationships with key clients. Actively work to identify, define and win more work from our existing clients 

Operational Management 
—You will be responsible for developing creative solutions on communication, planning and pitches across brands and teams
—You are always thinking ahead, aligning your creative vision to the structure, vision and future of the business
—Design and lead vision/ innovation workshop activities and co-creation sessions
—Inspiring and leading the creative vision across all disciplines
—You will be responsible for contributing to creative direction on Exposure Group pitches. Driving the process from start to finish, ensuring that we deliver first class creative work
—Being a leader and advocate of the group creative process – ensuring the process is used efficiently
—Being a “thought leader” both within the agency, across the group and across the industry. Taking a vocal point of view on industry issues and driving our positioning
—Foster collaboration with other agencies in the Exposure Group, across existing and new pieces of business
—Able to maintain a high level of attention to detail
—To help grow the agency’s reputation and strive to develop work that wins awards
